Increasing your traffic deploying Twitter For Business
Web 2.0 property Twitter has fashioned a media storm in the last few months with a army of subject gurus integrating Twitter on their podcasts , and marketing experts telling you, we can leverage Twitter to create hundreds of followers , the interest in Twitter is at a record peak . You almost certainly know people on Twitter and suppliers may have invited you to join them on Twitter . And that is what I want to discuss with you today . What are YOU doing about it for yourself?
A lot of people, actually I think most, don’t even “get” Twitter. And that’s partly because it can be many different things to almost as many people. And to some extent, they may even be all true, at least to that person.
Regardless of how you feel about Twitter personally, there are some great strategies you should consider and there’s a great FREE training video about that at http://www.TrafficHug.com/twittervideo/ but whatever you do, you should be doing something. The smallest benefit will be extra chances for impressions , ideally with some way of people finding you by your keyword, or your name. It could be embarrassing if potential customers search for you and your competitor , or a cyber squatter, have beaten you to your own profile.
We have other articles on getting targeted traffic, but let’s look at something we can do in ten minutes We’ll take a more detailed look at finding fans but first let’s explore a quick and easy option.
Most people perceive Twitter traffic as stemming from Twitter internally . A concept most Twitter directories also foster. But , the advantages of having your existing clients subscribe to you on Twitter are well worth having . So valuable that we need to take action today .
One thing we can do almost immediately is to add a Twitter “badge” to your web presences . A Twitter badge is a graphic saying who you are on Twitter with a link direct to your Twitter profile. In the videos I mentioned earlier , they reveal how , but the badge we can do now, with no excuses.
WHERE CAN I CREATE MY BADGE ?
You can get your own customised Twitter badge for FREE from the following website ;
http://www.TwitterDominator.com/followme_badges.php – FollowMe Twitter Badge .
You simply paste the HTML code it provides in to your website, store, or blog and your customised graphic with active link, will magically appear .
You can also paste the pure HTML in to most blog widgets. I’ve inserted one on my own blogs.
It is provided in its own little HTML DIV tag so should reside easily almost anywhere.
You can create an HTML table or div layer to house it, then you can just paste the code in easily . With WYSIWYG html editors, there is usually an HTML “object” box you can place in the desired location and just place the code in to that. Adobe Dreamweaver users can just insert an AP Layer (from the insert menu) and then paste the code in to that using the HTML code view pane.
I think you’ll be surprised at the results a simple Twitter badge will bring you. Do it today and wait a few weeks and you should start to see some results.
